RE: WEBSITE
There was a problem with the content font but I have just managed to sort it out. Also changed the resolution so it should work better on smaller screens. Check it out www.dhcreative.co.uk

It's been a while...
but I've been busy. It's final term of my final year and things are getting out of control! However, I have just finished creating my new website and have just got it up and running so I advise you go take a look... www.dhcreative.co.uk. It's more of a template at the minute as I still need to upload my work, which is the most important bit. But it would be nice to get some feedback on how you find it, is it easy to use? also let me know if there are any problem with resolution. Cheers, I'll be back soon!

KRAVE!
Well. Haven't posted for a few days. I've been working on my second campaign for the module. I chose KRAVE cereal as it is a new product, it hasn't had much advertising and it tastes nice. I did a whole load of research into cravings which lead to attacking cravings which lead to a virus outbreak and so on.... It finally lead to the idea of KRAVE being a virus which is spreading around the UK. The symptoms are that you crave more of the virus. Unfortunately, It can't be killed and you have to feed the virus to survive. Scary stuff.
The campaign is based around advertising the virus outbreak as an pandemic. This involves breaking news coverage and the set up of survival camps. Here are some roughs.....
This is a radio script and there is also a television script which is of the same content. The television would look like a breaking news broadcast.
All of the press adverts promote the KRAVE Survival Points. These are stalls that are setup around the UK in shopping centres and high streets. They provide people with a daily dose of KRAVE by giving them a single KRAVE supplement.
Will put some more scans up tomorrow so you can get your head around it a bit better!
Ciao for now

Saucy Update!
I feel very silly right now. I've had all this Britishness flying around and I hadn't even thought about the Queen. So, here it is, her majesty...
Now these bottles would be special edition (as the Queen is the pinnacle of Britishness and also because it took so long to come into my head). Buyers have to collect 5 codes printed on the back of the other bottles and enter them into the HP website. They will then receive by post the special edition Queen bottle.
I have also secured the strap line 'True Brit' as 'Quintessentially British' was too similar to a previous HP campaign 'Proper British'. Here is an example of it being used on the side of a red London bus which is obviously another British icon...

More Sauce!
I have decided that all of the bottle designs will be used as this would make them collectable. I have designed a shelf for the 'Bobby' design and need to come up with one for the 'Gent' design. I also thought it would be good to have packaging design for HP sauce sachets, to be placed in restaurants, cafes etc. These are connected with the bottle designs.
Police box shelf...
Sachet Packaging...
I have also came up with an idea for street promotion. A fleet of Mini Coopers. These are original Mini's as they were made in Britain, more iconic, and much nicer than the modern ones. Like the bottles, they are in uniform. The three styles are the same. They drive around London by a promotions team who are dressed in costume according to the car they drive. They stop on streets and provide free sausages with an HP sachet (packaging relevant to car). They also sell the bottles from the back of the Mini. Again, the bottles they sell are according to the car they are in. I feel these car designs are certainly head turning....
Anyway, in terms of uni work, we're moving on to the next product now. So will have to get cracking and make sure this campaign is finished soon...

HP Sauce!
I don't know if I've performed an illegal move by posting two blogs on the same day... but whatever. Okay, so for one of my modules at uni we have to do a campaign every 2 weeks and the products are of our own choosing.
For my first campaign I am doing HP sauce. The concept of the whole campaign is Britishness. HP is a very British sauce. So, I've been having a lot of ideas of how to get this across. Still haven't fully decided on a final strap line yet, but it simply may be "Quintessentially British". Whilst doodling trying to come up with ideas, I scribbled a royal guards uniform onto a bottle of HP sauce. And so it began. I decided that I would put act
ual uniforms onto the bottles as a packaging design. I've also designed some other 'characters' which show Britishness, however I'm not quite sure if I will be using them in the final
campaign.
Here are some images to explain it a bit better...
I have also designed some shelf displays which would be situated inside shops. I prefer the Centurion's box to the two giant guards. The Centurion box would be made of cardboard and would be placed at the end of aisles.
